Back-to-School 2025–26: Key Dates and What They Mean for AMBPS Families

Al Mawahib British Private School welcomes our community to the 2025–26 academic year starting Monday, 25 August 2025. Below are the official UAE/Sharjah term dates and how AMBPS is supporting families for a smooth, purposeful start.

Key UAE/Sharjah Dates (2025–26)

• First day for students: Mon, 25 Aug 2025

• Winter break: Mon, 8 Dec 2025 – Sun, 4 Jan 2026 (students return Mon, 5 Jan 2026)

• Spring break: Mon, 16 Mar – Sun, 22 Mar 2026 (classes resume Mon, 23 Mar 2026)

• End of academic year: Early July 2026 (final day will be shared in Term 3 notices)

What This Means at AMBPS

• Routines & Readiness: Clear lesson objectives, daily reading expectations, and consistent homework timelines across EY/Primary/Secondary.

• Student Wellbeing: A safe, welcoming environment with positive behaviour routines and pastoral support.

• Arabic & Qur’an: Strong focus with regular memorisation and speaking practice built into weekly timetables.

• Activities & Clubs: Co-curricular sign-ups open in the first weeks of September; look out for notices via the Parent App and homeroom letters.

• Transport & Uniform: For bus routes, timings, and uniform guidelines, please check the Parent Handbook and Transport Office updates on the portal. New families receive step-by-step onboarding by email.
